They also forgot their target audience is mom's/dad's and their children. Why do they pander so much to the lgbtqia+ groups and angry adults? which probably make up a very small amount of their viewers, while overlooking what made them successfull?

Dont be surprised if this is another huge flop for them, I certaintly wouldn't be.

and if they want to do a "modern" take on snow white, theres so many better ways of doing it.
It could be a girl that runs away from home, in a city.  She could be asian, her last name is white? they named her snow in their native tongue ect.
The "dwarfs" could be a street gang or something, that takes her in.
The step mom doesnt need to be a litteral witch..... just evil enough, to warrent revenge, if they wanted to go that route.
Then they could race swap, however much they liked.
The problem is their redoing the german folklore version, with the dwarfs in the woods ect, magic, and "snow white".
People that see remake, are gonna be expecting the cartoon version but not drawn, and are gonna be majorly let down.

Instead of pandering to the angry adults, they should pander to other angry adults.

When is the last time you've seen Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? I have rewatched it recently because I love it, and it is a stunning achievement in animation. As a narrative it sucks.

What's wrong with a classic lovestory is that in this case, the love story is terrible. They literally meet once, and she's 14. Then he like finds her later and kisses her and she goes to live with him forever. That's literally all there is to it.

In general, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is just an awful story. It was the first full length cartoon, and they were figuring it out. A solid 50% or more of the movie is them stringing together classic Mickey Mouse style cartoon vignettes with the dwarves, and I'm sorry, modern audiences aren't going to want to watch a full five minute segment of the Dwarves getting washed up for supper.

I'm sorry you object to the protagonist of the story having agency and presumably a character arc. If you want to watch a movie about a girl who does housework while waiting for dick from a dude she met that one time, that movie exists on Disney + so knock yourself out. Hopefully, we're better storytellers close to 100 years later. They could not have redone Snow White as it was, and it needed major changes. Who knows if the changes they make will work, but I'm pretty sure it'll be better than a gang taking in a young girl. But, feel free to pitch your version to Brazzers.

P.S. Yeah, kind of weird for a character named Snow White to not be super pale, but aside from thinking for a moment "huh, that's kind of odd" it's really not going to impact my enjoyment of the film.

P.P.S. It's nice that you're so concerned with the incredibly stupid people among us, but the internet is a thing that exists. People can very easily do a Google search, check a review, and see how faithful this will be to the original. If they do not know what to expect, they have themselves to blame.

P.P.P.S. I have absolutely no idea how this has anything to to with the LBGT+ community. But, this was a film about 7 dudes living in the woods along together. Snow White's been a pretty gay movie since since the 30s.
