SSD is required for anything above 720P @30fps (and even then they still recommend an SSD)

Yes, but recommend isn't the same thing as required. Because that means the game is still completely playable on an HDD regardless of what resolution and fidelity you run the game at. Assumingly, the experience will be compromised. We'll be finding out here in a couple of weeks.

I'm lowkey looking forward to seeing YouTube videos of people trying to run the game at 4K, Ray Tracing set to Ultra, and Ultra graphical fidelity settings on an HDD. I wanna see what kind of shenanigans it'll cause in-game

Its likely that there might be slowdowns for some parts of the game (like special effects) or long loading screens.

This feels like a pretty good piece of evidence that Activision needs PlayStation more than PlayStation needs Activision.

Making CoD exclusive on Battle.net did nothing to change the fortunes of the platform, and removing it off Steam did nothing to stop Steam from growing massively.

Just greed - they wanted to maximize as much profit.

Seems like people are slowly forfeiting physical, that is sad for me.

I guess I'm part of the problem lol - majority of my game library is digital lol
