As I said, Square-Enix needs to try to start to rebuild a fanbase for the main line Final Fantasy projects on the Switch going forward. FF16 and FF7 Remake ports on Switch 2 should both happen, FF17 should also be on Switch 2 along with PS5/XBox/PC. Yes, it might be a bit of a pain to port, but if the franchise is allowed to go on like this, it's going to crumble into irrelevance in Japan, which is a much bigger and worse problem for SE. 

An issue could be if their agreement with Sony includes complete console exclusivity including Nintendo. But yeah I agree that major future FF entries need to have Switch 2 ports. I don’t think that is an impossible task by any means.
