Same, which is why I bought them again and played it on Switch lol
Aside from the GBA/mobile remakes - I cant see myself playing or wanting to play the older versions of FF1-6 anymore (older versions being NES, SNES, PS1 versions). The Pixel remaster version is the best experience you'll get.
(They'll likely make a Pixel remaster definitive edition series in the next anniversary time - with the bonus dungeons is what I am guessing they'll do lol)
