Super Mario Odyssey for me, and for a few reasons. One, it was treated as more of an event by Nintendo, with a phenomenal announce trailer. Two, it launched in the honeymoon phase of Switch, as opposed to its twilight. Three, and most importantly, the line of 3D Super Mario games simply has more street cred at this time than the line of 2D installments. Odyssey was the successor to Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D World, where Wonder is the successor to New Super Mario Bros. U — a great, underrated game, if you ask me, but not close to the greatness of the Wii and WiiU 3D titles.
