Clive has literally a phoenix down on him, so I'm going to predict it'll be significant somehow. I'm thinking he will mutual-kill the Ultima-possessed Joshua but be revived by it.

Also, poor Clive has ED (Eikonic Dysfunction). "It comes and goes as it pleases". Thankfully for him Jill is an understanding gal.
