I don't think a lot will change. I mean, EA knows that their 'AAA' development teams (for example Maxis and Bioware) already have a succesful formula. Just look at Spore. PC, Wii, DS? :o Because Will Wright wanted it to be that way.
I don't think they'd want to mess with Rockstar a lot.
