I honestly fail to see why is Intel ditching the "i". It will make it harder to talk about the different processors among us, tho we may still use the term for convenience (like we say UPlay and not UbiConnect).

The Ultra and not Ultra parts may just be Intel's new way to market the "K/KF" processors.

Impressive video, Tall.

If they had only changed the i9 to Ultra, it would have been fine, but Ultra 5 means something like "extreme midrange", so it makes not much sense.

If they only replace the K/KF parts with the Ultra branding, then it makes some sense, as their TDP values have become truly meaningless by now, so they could use the Ultra branding to make them work outside of those constrains and have even the most tech-averse clients and customers understand that those are really high-power chips, something that the K branding doesn't convey that easily to those guys.
