At this point, I feel like an announcement and release in 2024 would be the most likely option. I feel like it's unreasonable to expect there to be no successor until 2025 or later at this point. They could launch around September 2024. Wouldn't be surprised if Switch drops below 10m for 2024, so having new hardware that year would make sense.
