It wasnt always like that though.
Persona 1 and 2 had better dungeon designs to travel through because P1 and P2 were more SMT than modern Persona.
Modern Persona focused more on Social links and outside of dungeon aspects (which imo I really enjoyed and always didnt enjoy as much on P3 or P4 - even though P4's dungeons were better).
Everything that happened outside of the dungeons made up for it though lol.
But after playing SMTIV, SMTIV Apocalypse, SMT Soul Hackers, SMT Strange Journey and SMT Devil Survivor 1 and 2 - I'm starting to look forward to at SMT games more than Persona games.
Speaking of which , I still need to play SMTV on Switch and Persona 5 on my PS5 lol.
