Mashing in TOTK is not a good idea tbh as while you can do it the result is you getting killed over and over as anything more than a base level Bokoblin does insane damage as in like seven to eight hearts of damage minimum and they have a tendency to tank hits so trying to stagger them with mashing is not consistent. Strategic approach to combat is really a must especially against groups as Link's defence took a severe nerf in TOTK.
