NY Post was more based on "feelings" while Reuters seems like someone has straight up told them it will be approved. Also Bloomberg is now reporting the same. Not that it matters though, the deal is still dead, but it'd be nice to see at least one major regulator hasn't lost the plot and is actually basing things on facts rather than rampant speculation. UK is once again going to stand alone as the problem (because lets face it, FTC would be crushed in US Courts), Lol. |
If the EU approve, you still believe the deal is dead. There are remedies that MS can pursue in the UK to get it done still.
