Alright, Fable 2, my opinion:

Fable was supremely hyped games for the Xbox. I preordered it months in advance, and itwas known as the first real non-computer based RPG on the system notoriously devoid of good RPGs.

I mean, it was Halo 3 hyped.

When the game was released, I loved it, but it wasn't groundbreaking at all. I even conned the gamespot guy out of the Fable stand where the face changes depending on where you stand. All 5 feet of it, lol.

Anyway, despite the false advertisement of open-endedness and endless gameplay,(the game was actually very linear and short, and goodvsevil really didn't matter at all), the end result was actually a very fun game with some very polished 3rd person RPG type gameplay, several engaging minigames, excellent graphics, a few cool Zeldaish/innovative minigames like archery, and an interesting, if forgettable story.

However, since fanboys like myself were expecting god on wheels, we were very pissed off when we found out the game have just a little over 10 hours of gameplay with no reason to play though it a second time.

So, this good, nearly AAA ARPG ended up going down as one of the biggest dissapointments in history.

Despite huge mistakes by the developer and marketing department, with their spouting mouths, the game still managed to be a great RPG in a time when the Xbox needed one.

I think this game can do the same. However, beware getting overhyped. Just assume it'll be a pretty good RPG, and a sequel very much like the original game, and you probably won't come away dissapointed.

However, during Internet 2.0, we make our decisions about a game from the first review, assuming that review is bad, so you could just stop they hype train alltogether, because it just makes the fanboys feel better when they know you cared.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
