That boot sound still lives in my head, rent free for so many years.
I've yet to hear a console booting up sound that makes me sit back and relax like the PS1's did.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
