I predicated this last week. We can't possible expect to get a proper baseline until we know for sure that stock can be maintained.
Think about it this way: there was a huge shortage so demand wasn't meet. Supply comes but supply isn't addressing regular demand, it's addressing backed up demand.
With all due respect to Sony, if they could truly meet demand you wouldn't get situations like Amazon Japan where the PS5 is constantly selling out.
Expect sales to yoyo back and forward for the next few months. FF16 will only exacerbate this.
Even worse Sony may be launching a Slim model in a couple of months. Good luck finding the baseline anytime soon.
