Does the Steam Deck REALLY Destroy the Switch?

Steam Deck was never going to be a Switch killer, it is fundamentally a niche device for enthusiasts, not a mainstream hit like the Switch is.
As of the latest report, Steam Deck sold 1.62m by the end of 2022; by the same date, Switch had sold more than 120 million.

Anyone who seriously thought the Deck would pose a threat to Nintendo was drinking too much of the coolaid.
