343 needs to fix alot of things honestly, kind of remarkable just how meh of a state the game is still in after a year and 4 months post-launch. Equipable AI's are broken, I have Lumu equipped but keep getting BUTLR voice lines, and I've tried change to multiple other AI including BUTLR himself, restarting the game, etc, and it's still glitched, and on top of that the AI's barely speak now, I get like one AI voice line per hour of play it feels like. The new weapon they added actually made the sandbox worse imo, not a big fan of it since it has basic iron sight zoom making it basically the starting pistol but with a lower fire rate and more damage per bullet, and it replaced weapons I do use on many maps because they just moved into the rotation for existing weapon spawn boxes instead of adding new weapon spawn boxes to the maps for it. Recorded two clips recently of sniper headshots that clearly hit the head but counted as body shots. For some reason they added some objective modes to the Tactical Slayer playlist, it has slayer in the name but they thought adding king of the hill to the playlist was a good idea. The store is still a mess, the number of items available per day, half week, and week is way too low, there are cosmetics I missed that I would love to spend real money on, but who knows when they will cycle back into the shop, and if I will be playing the day or week that they do cycle back in. MMR seems to be failing miserably, recently had like 9 lost matches in a row, each time either first or second on my team with a positive KDR, while in most of those matches my bottom two teammates were getting like 3 or 4 kills and 14 or 15 deaths each. Getting matched with the same names on more than one match in a row which suggests the player population is pretty poor. I'm honestly not sure if Infinite is fixable at this point, they just seem too far behind. It's probably for the best that Tatanka seems to have been expanded from just battle royale to a full Halo MP experience with arena and BTB options, and is planned to succeed Infinite, hopefully they can get Tatanka out by Holiday 2025 at least.
