Yeah, it's pretty lackluster. Usually a gold or ultimate edition of a game includes a season pass for future campaign expansions, but there is nothing like that here, you pay $10 more than the deluxe edition and all you get is the accelerated version of the battlepass which grants you 20 tiers instantly as opposed to the basic version of the battlepass (completely superfluous as you have plenty of time to complete the first season pass without needing 20 instant tiers), and a couple of extra cosmetics that aren't in the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition meanwhile feels pretty overpriced at $20 more than standard, all you get for $20 is 4 days early access, the first battlepass, and 2 unique cosmetics.

I think standard edition is your best bet with Diablo 4 unless you really care about PvP and don't want other people getting a 4 day headstart on becoming PvP masters.

Honestly a game launching with a £60 price tag for the standard edition having a battle pass system to monetize you is a complete joke.

Yeah. I understand them wanting in on the battlepass money that so many other publishers are getting, but it's an RPG, we don't really need a battlepass in an RPG, even if it is cosmetic only like they promise.
