Because otherwise, the indie-AA Japanese titles are almost guaranteed on the successor considering how well they’ve performed overall on the OG Switch in Japan even compared to the PS4. |
Apparently Famitsu thinks switch is ~500k ahead of what Media Create thinks, so that could be a factor for the high sales.
