From the benchmarks I've seen, either the R9 7900X3D or the 7950X3D will be almost useless (depending on one's opinion). The difference in performance seems negligible, which leaves mostly pricing to consider. The CPU space is looking kind of like the GPU space right now.
And then there are the new 5.0 m.2 drives with their ridiculous coolers clamped on, I'm thinking gaming rigs will be too heavy to lift by next-gen! :P
Finding the best setup for my next rig is only becoming more difficult by the day.
