Considering Hellblade 2 entered development either late 2018 or early 2019 and already had in-engine footage ready for the Game Awards 2019 reveal, you would think it would be pretty far along in development now, especially since the dev team is rumored to be like 80 devs, 4x more than first game's 20 person dev team. Maybe the scope is truly huge or something, open world instead of linear like the first game, and maybe like 4 or 5 times more content than the 8ish hour long first game.
