Everything I have read suggests that Sledgehammer is taking all of the maps, modes, weapons, equipment, perks, etc from MW2 (2022) and putting them in their game, and then adding to them with new maps and maybe a few new weapons (not sure about perks and equipment). If you like the MP on MW2 (2022), then there is a decent chance you will like the multiplayer on CoD 2023 since it is basically just an expansion pack for MW2 multiplayer, with Infinity Ward overseeing them to make sure they don't mess up things like balance too badly. |
Eh, not sure how to feel about what seems like an expansion being turned into a full game. Overwatch has been my primary MP game over the past 6/7 years so I doubt CoD will be able to win me back over to their games full time but I'll always be keeping an eye out on each new game that gets released.
