Neither bad nor amazing, just kind of so-so. Obviously this is players, not sales, so this includes players from PS+ mid tier, Gamepass, and rentals, as well as people playing the same bought copy on more than 1 account within the same household, but here is how this compares with the sales of Arkane's previous games:
- Dishonored 1- About 7-8m lifetime
- Dishonored 2- About 5-6m lifetime
- Prey- About 5-6m lifetime (noteworthy that full priced sales were down considerably compared to Dishonored 2, 60% lower first week in the UK at least, so while it's lifetime about matched Dishonored 2, more of it's sales were discounted)
- Arx Fatalis- Somewhere between 750k-1.5m I believe
- Dark Messiah of Might and Magic- Somewhere between 1-2m I believe
