Big loss for Xbox though in that Mikami's a very well respected individual and could have been used to attract developers to Xbox wanting to work under Mikami. But it makes me look at Todd a little, I wish that dude would start giving others a chance the way that Mikami did, Todd has to direct absolutely everything, Lol. Could he step back on Fallout at least and let someone else have a go at it? One day Todd will retire/leave too and I can't name a single person in Bethesda beside him, Lol. |
Yeah, Todd definitely needs to take a step back and start training replacement directors for each of their 3 IP. Bethesda badly needs to be reorganized around full or at least half development on each of their 3 IP's separately, instead of this current thing where their staff are split like 80/15/5 between their 3 IP at best. People like their games way too damn much to force people to wait like 10 years or more between games in each of the 3 IP. It's high time Bethesda evolves for future success under Xbox and the Gamepass model. Todd isn't getting any younger and needs to start training replacements now, while there is time for each of his 3 replacements to direct or co-direct a full game before his retirement.
