Ngl it probably helped limit the sales but most last gen Switch ports comfortably sold their predecessors on the Switch. Case in point Nsmbud which was actually a port of a port! 

I was expecting at least 6m for DK.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
