The fragmentation effect of the internet has done so much harm with regards to things like E3. There use to be a time when gamers huddled around screens all over the world at all hours of the day, waiting with bated breath, ready to see what these guys would unveil. It was our Super Bowl. It was our Christmas. It was something very special, and it unified everyone for a few short days.
It's such a loss.
