Your ignorance has already been pointed out, so I'll touch on this otherwise untouched point instead, since so few of us here can probably really say anything about the matter. Here's a few points:

  • I'm Finnish, and I live in Finland.
  • Finland and Russia share a long border.
  • I've done my military service, i.e. I can be called into war, should one involving Finland start.

I absolutely do not want a war (although I'm ready to play my part - like most of us Finns - should it be necessary), but I also don't think one is going to occur. The best way to ensure that is to make it extremely clear to Russia that attacking your neighbours will not be tolerated. Letting Russia attack its neighbours without consequences is practically an implicit permission to do it again. After all, that's what they've been doing since 2008, with each move being bolder than the previous.
