I think it looks good from a technical stand point. Not sure if i like the colors, though. I have trouble seeing Nintendo commit to such a project.

First of all, how many years would this take to make? It already takes a long time to make the next original installment for the franchise. I’d think they would prefer for an entirely new game. Second, does anyone really want a final fantasy vii remake situation where it’s a reimagining of the original classic? Third, how much would this cost? Nintendo are usually efficient with their game budgets. They’re not gonna spend hundreds of millions for one project of this supposed magnitude. Sure, people will point out Metroid Prime 4 for its restart and how much potential millions are being spent for this project. But that’s an exception rather than the norm for Nintendo.

I’m sure people would like this kind of AAA budget project from Nintendo. But I’m not sure if Nintendo wants to do that for just one game. Especially since they’re a developer/producer of so many projects that they release every year for their own console. Microsoft and Sony arguably don’t release as many games as Nintendo does on a yearly basis. That’s just how their respective strategies are.

From memory it took the guy 6 months to make it.

I think this is more showcasing the power of UE5.

I reckon it would take a year max if you had say 10 people working on it in UE5.

If Nintendo built there own engine for it, who knows how long lol.
