I usually prefer a less detailed look to my games. When there are so many things shining and making shadows all around I just get tired watching it.
It may be impressive as to what can be presented, but I would just get some kind of cognitive overload trying to make sense of it all. Playing a full game like that would be less relaxing than I want my gaming experience to be
