If it's like Tears says, then it could be number adjusting going on. 2023 and 2024 are going to big years for them and hopefully the start of never having a drought year again. I'm not sure how receptive Japan will be for those console exclusives. I don't think PS5 or Xbox Series have caught their stride yet, nor have they had their peak year.
2.2 years in and were looking at an 8 plus year stretch.
I originally thought the Series consoles wouldn't sale as much as the 360, but now I'm not so sure.
