(PSA) Position Your PS5 Console Horizontally to Avoid Damage

Not really sure how much stock to put into this. I've had mine since launch and no issues so far but I did decide to put it horizontally just to be safe. Agree with others here, it indeed is very ugly laying down horizontally.
