I'm stealing this from ResetEra, I thought it would be cool if we do it as well.

I've changed the rules very slightly and some questions.

Any ideas, or tweaks I should do, feel free to suggest them, or even more questions to ask.

This will close on January 15th or earlier if Microsoft announces their event before then.

Do not edit your posts beyond that date, I'll be saving them.

1. How Many Xbox Game Studios/Bethesda Game Studios Will be Released in 2023? - Mobile Titles Do Not Count, PC Only Titles (I.E. Ara) Do Count, Remasters Do Count (I.E. Goldeneye HD, Age of Mythology Retold), Xbox Ports (Age II, Age IV, Ghostwire) Don't Count, Activision-Blizzard Titles Are Not Being Included Due to Uncertainty on Closure.

Correct Answer = 5 Points

  • Going with 9 or more considering we already have 6 announced for just the first half of the year (Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Goldeneye remaster, Ara, and Minecraft Legends). I think they can manage 3 more 1st/2nd party games for the 2nd half of the year announced between the rumored Q1 show and E3.

2. Which of These Rumoured Titles Will be Shown in 2023?

5 Points for Each Correct Answer | Minus 2 Points for Each Incorrect Answer.

  • Project Belfry (Stoic)- Gameplay reveal as it should have like 4 years of development already. 
  • Project Midnight (Compulsion Games)- Teaser trailer reveal
  • Project Cobalt (InXile)- Teaser trailer reveal
  • Tango Gameworks Next IP- Gameplay reveal as this should have many years of development already if it is the John Johanas team game. 
  • Wolfenstein 3- Possible gameplay reveal if they have been working on it since Youngblood released Summer 2019, 4 years before E3 2023. 
  • Coalition's New IP- Teaser trailer reveal

  • For the purposes of scoring, I'll say yes. But I don't think it will truly be only next 12 months games shown, unlike E3 2022. I think most of what they show will be releasing between June 2023 and May 2024. However, I do think they will show a small handful of CGI teaser trailers for late 2024 or even early 2025 releases. 

16. Make a Bold Prediction for Xbox in 2023 (No Points, Just for fun).

Xbox announces they are buying a Japanese developer or two as soon as ABK closes.
