Switch keeping up a good fight and has, so far, the best longevity for a Nintendo console in recent times. It now all goes down as if Nintendo releases a successor soon, a revision or do nothing at all for the next year or two.
If they release a revision, i think it can power it through new highs and surpass the DS/PS2.
If it's a successor soon, then sales will fumble like the DS did in later years.
If they do nothing at all, i feel like sales will start to drop now. People are starting to feel like the Switch has given it's time and that narrative is always a good indicator that it is time for something else. I would say people are anticipating it to go out sooner rather than later now.
