The answer is... It's one entry in a long-running series, so not something standalone like Tetris (sorry, the people deserve a little bit more).

Yea that's fair, I'm probably heading to bed soon but was gonna add an extra hint tomorrow to narrow it down.

Has anyone said Resident Evil 4? I'll give that a guess before the next clue.
