MegaDrive was my first owned console ever and I really liked it. I also owned a Dreamcast which was a mixed bag over the 12 months~ I had it. Out of all systems, Sega consoles and X360 were the only ones that had frustrating hardware issues which soured my experience.

But I did love Sega and had a great time with the MegaDrive overall. In addition to the many great Sega IP's, I had a thing for Disney branded games like The Lion King, Toy Story, Pinocchio, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book. One Sega game that doesn't seem to get enough recognition is Comix Zone. My brother and a few friends were semi obsessed about it and I can see why when I look at its unique presentation now.

My first Sega product though wasn't the MegaDrive, it was a MasterSystem controller which was compatible with our MSX home computer (My 6-8 year old self would sometimes play Twinbee and Salamander with my older brother). I had no idea it was a Sega controller until over a decade later!

First game I "watched" on a Sega console was Mortal Kombat 2. First game I played was Bare Knuckle 2 (Streets of Rage). The most impactful Sega game to me has to be Shenmue, its world structure blew my mind back in 2000.
