No offence to Mr. Yokoi (RIP), but frankly this idea for the very late 80s/early 1990s is insanely out of touch. The product he wanted the Game Boy to be probably would've been no where near as successful. It's fortunate for Nintendo really that he was shouted down and Okada took over lead of the project and made basically a pocket Famicom/NES instead. 

I agree. Yokoi was a toy designer at Nintendo, so that's what he wanted to make with Gameboy, or G&W2, if we think of the design.
