Yeah, Intel really didn't have anything to counter AMD in Datacenter since Zen 2. And I doubt Sapphire Rapids can do very much, as due to the delays it will have to face Zen 4 Epyc chips now while first performance leaks showed Sapphire Rapids was just on par at best with Zen 3 Epyc chips. At best, it will slow down the fall of Intel's Datacenter and HPC business, but not making it a rising market yet. Maybe it's successor Emerald Rapids can reverse the trend, but if that one also gets delayed, which is highly probable, it will have to run against Zen 5, greatly lessening the chances of returning to growth in that sector.
