I don't know if that got posted before, but apparently AMD is coming with a 10c/20t 7800X in the near future (possibly CES?)

My take: If the 7700X drops in price and the 7800X comes at that or a similar (lower) price tag, this could certainly improve the value proposition of AMD - if Microsoft solves the issue with AMD chips having multiple CCDs that is!
