Well I can see why people come to that conclusion if they are unaware that the diagnosis for autism has changed over the years. It wasn't even diagnosed at all before.

It's how people handle information that breaks their world view on these things that matters.
If they double down on it, or continue to spread other unsubstantiated conspiracy theories, then yes.

Her apologies weren't the worst apologies I've seen, but they also didn't recognize the point of how the problem with what she said isn't just how it was worded, but the actual content of what was being said. Still, I have little doubt that she is a much better person than Hellena and she seems to have good intentions. Just important to recognize that people with good intentions can be harmful, and when they are they need to scale-back and self-reflect.
