Lessons learned from Amber Heard = a resounding ZERO!

What's the correlation here?
People initially presumed Amber was correct because physical domestic abuse is more commonly observed with women.
So the lesson from that would be to not make presumptions on that subject based on gender.

Hellena Taylor did not seem to insinuate a problem more common to women, but with voice actors in general often being underpaid. Which is known to be true for both men and women who do voice acting.
She even attacked her replacement, Jennifer Hale, in one of those videos.

If Nolan North had gone out with the same statement, there would have been just as much noise around it. I'd wager a lot more even, because he has a much bigger following.

It may have been worse if Nolan North did it for the exact same reasons you gave, people love their bigger celebrities as I mentioned in an earlier post. But I think being a female crying in front of the camera makes it easier for some to sympathize with her regardless of her intentions.

A lot of people would argue that women are discriminated against everywhere and not just inside the house or in relationships, and they would be correct because misogyny like racism is very common. Being a female and an actor each provide a layer of immunity within certain vocal communities. Obviously, the bigger reason is their status as an actor.
