People inistially presumed she was correct because physical domestic abuse is more commonly observed with women.

Hellena Taylor's claim did not seem to have anything to do with a problem inherant with women, but with voice actors in general often being underpaid.

If Nolan North had gone out with the same statement, there would have been just as much noise around it, if not more. I'd wager a lot more in fact, because he's a bigger star.
