I do agree that forcing or dictating higher salaries do no one good, reason why I didn't brought regulation or government to the topic.

I'm just saying that if what you pay for on average is below the necessary to have decent life then you likely won't have competent professionals on it. I do think quality VA is important (although couldn't care less about specific names even though I know Troy Baker, but for Brazilian dub professionals I know quite a lot by voice and name because of anime), and that poor VA can impact sales and profits of game, but sure if company think it is something without much value and that as long as there is a voice to dub over it is enough sure paying as little as allowed will be their tactic and if market accepts that them there isn't much to be said.

Well what amount is considered necessary for a decent life? 4K is great for a month, but she hasnt done any voice acting in 8 years.

Yes if on average VA picks up a week worth of dub a month (I do feel this is a low number for a professional) 4k/month is a reasonable amount to live. Regarding her not doing VA for 8 years not sure if that really is the case or she only done small roles that weren't included in wikia (and if she isn't professional, as in not doing regular work, than any minimum is pointless as that wouldn't be her career, so she could either make 100 or 1M per work, like let's say Michael Jordan doing a work on Looney Tunes, the payment would be dependent on how much revenue that person participation would bring).
