If VA work was so lucrative, as people here think it is, it would be advertised as the go to occupation in game development. 

So companies have to keep paying voice actors until they get another job? PG would have had to pay for her for the last 8 years if that was the case. 

Like Ive said before its not a job you can make a living from in most cases. No matter how much VAs would like it to be.

Okay, and while they work their full-time jobs that they need to work to survive how are they going to take off 1-2 weeks every few months when they get a gig? Again, in Europe this might be possible as people get a minimun of 5 weeks per year, but not going to be the norm in the U.S. There is no mandated paid leave, and why would one want to use their paid leave to work anyway?
