which do you like more the 2D or 3D era

The beginning of the 3d era was the biggest for me. Mind blowing stuff...

I miss a lot of the simple and creative games from the 2d gaming world, and I dislike the direction that much of the 3d world is heading. That being said, almost all of my most favorite games are 3d games.
