Heavenly Sword is a tad on the violent side. Its not God of War, or Conan, or Viking, etc. but its bloody, and there's plenty of hewing and impaling. I don't play it around my own daughters, but they aren't 10 yet -- maybe I'll feel different then. That games biggest flaw is that I (and I think most people who played it) wanted more -- lots more. I felt like I had just started getting into it, and then it was over.
Lair is decent... I actually preferred it with the Sixaxis, over the new patch for the stick. Its more of a show than a game (its more about learning the missions than having any gameplay skills, IMO), but its a fun show (if you like breathing fire, eating soldiers, and toppling big war beasts, which I find entertaining), and probably worth it for the price you can get it at these days.
Uncharted is awesome. Ratchet & Clank is awesome. MGS4 is awesome.
Resistance looked pretty nice, but otherwise seemed sorta generic, to me. I don't think I would get it if I were you, given your description of being burnt out on shooters.
Folklore is awesome, too, if you like console RPGs -- I saw this one really cheap (used) at the local games store the other day and wondered how it could even be sitting there at that price.
