I could be wrong, but let us pick on the Switch...  have you ever seen a console in 5.5 years not drop in price?  Is that taking advantage of consumers?  Do you believe Nintendo couldn't financially afford to drop the price of the Switch?

Based on a quick internet search the Switch costs $250 to make..... 5 years ago.  I'm guessing that cost has come down significantly over 5 years.  I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is making more money off hardware then Sony is.  

You understand that maintaining a product price is different to raising a product price right? They are not the same thing.
