Ok, so here's how this could have happened:
Both Famitsu and Media Create don't track all retailers equally. They have samples and extrapolate that to the whole country. I think they use an algorithm or something. There's always a margin of error. It seems they also each don't track some retailers at all. For example Famitsu doesn't track Amazon. So those retailer's sales are estimated.
XBS isn't sold at all by many retailers. Both trackers use methods that assume that a console is sold nation wide like is the case with most consoles.
I assume that both numbers are off and that Famitsu is to high and Media Create to low but by a smaller margin because generally Media Create is considered to be more accurate.
