I'm gonna have to try playing 1 and (and then 2) again. I got them on Switch a couple years ago, played Bay1 for like 45 minutes and it just seemed terrible! Like just button mashing hell and could barely even tell what was going on most of the time. I'm always surprised since then that so many people love the series. Maybe it'll seem better if I give it a bit more time.
