I wouldn't be surprised if they've decided to do a smaller show now since there'll most likely be a GoW SoP next month. 

Keep a bigger showcase for Nov/ Dec. 

Yeah that's true, the last two happening during September doesn't mean the next has to. Between those two months November seems more likely to me since December has the game awards going on.
