To each their own. Alot of PS1 games did not gain my interests except for afew. Where as the N64 library majority of the Nintendo and Rare games were must play. Its my opinion and preference not yours here. I dont care if a console has 10k games on it. I am basing this off quality and the N64 in my opinion destroyed my PS1 in that category.

What question do you want me to answer? I thought i answered it a while ago.

You can't determine the quality of something you didn't try (the software). Not having much interest in certain genres or games is of course fine (as long as the underlying cause isn't brand-worship/hate, which it very often is against massively supported systems like the PS1), but it doesn't make them low quality or shovelware. I would never give an opinion on a game I never played, that's just fucking weird!

The question I asked was "how many games did you play/own on N64 and PS1 each?"

Your opinion on PS1 is limited to your experience and is no reflection of the actual quality of the console (This applies to all of us. I talk about how incredible the PS1 is and yet I barely played over 150 games on it out of almost 8000 games. Didn't have the time or the money to play every highly regarded game and hidden gem. The internet didn't exist so my knowledge was quite limited too). I was curious how many games you played/owned on PS1 in particular, because 15 different people could have played 15 different sets of games (barring Gran Turismo, FF, Crash, MGS, RE, and Tekken re-appearing a number of times), so each of those 15 experienced a largely different platform, hence even the best selling game (the revolutionary Gran Turismo) had an attach rate of barely over 10%. There was more to the PS1 than just the top 10 or 20 most popular titles.

My PS1 was chipped so I had a draw full of games, I brought a few of them like FF7. I own all Nintendo and Rare games as well as other games like all the Turok games, WcW vs NWO and No Mercy which i still think are the best wrestling games even to today. All I can say is outside of the main few games, the N64 library of games isn't even comparable. I also dont care as much for JRPGs except for FF7 which i absolutely loved. Quantity of games does not mean quality. Not saying the PS1 doesn't have quality games but none of them except maybe 2 or 3 would sit in the top 10 best games of that gen when in comparison with the N64 library.

Again, my taste, I have searched up many games for the PS1 and many don't catch my interest. Maybe you love them but not for me. When it came to games that wowed me the most and also had the best time with my friends with, they were all on the N64.
